About Us

The Hiltingbury Community Association was formed with the aim of bringing the heart back into the community by providing a centre for Hiltingbury community events. The HCA was formed in 1996 and has been responsible for organising the annual Hiltingbury Extravaganza.

With the growing success of this event year-on-year, it was proposed that a permanent centre should be built to provide a focal point for the community to meet and use the facilities for functions, clubs, sports, theatrical plays, meetings, birthday parties and wedding receptions. It is hoped that a spirit of inclusion will encourage many new people to participate in community activities at The Hiltingbury Community Centre (HCC) named as "The Hilt."

Phase one of our Community Centre is officially open for business and phase two is well under way to create a larger sports hall and entertainment theatre.
