The Hilt is run and managed by a volunteer team who bring invaluable experience to the roles in which they serve. Our volunteers ensure that the community centre operates efficiently and provides a benefit to local residents.
The trustees have overall responsibility for the building and the finances to ensure its future sustainability and suitability as a community facility.
The General Committee sets out and oversees the work of other sub-committees and is responsible for the long term planning and management of the facility. Financial control, building maintenance, building projects, human resources, GDPR, governance, events and general planning strategy form part of the tasks the committee is responsible for throughout the year. The General Committee provides an annual report covering the long term projections and financial health of the organisation at the AGM.
