Monks Brook U3A New Technology Group
The Group has evolved from the original Computer Skills Group to cover a wider range of topics, not just computers and how to use them.
As well as computers, tablets and smartphones, we now cover smart devices such as Artificial Intelligence, security cameras, thermostats, doorbells, music systems, smart TVs, smart homes (all the above coming under the generic term IoT (the Internet of Things). We also cover electric cars, smart metering systems, and how technology can help us with our finances, holiday bookings, etc. Occasional "workshops" are also held.
We meet on the afternoon of the 2nd Monday of the month at the Cranbury Room at the Hilt, activities include question and answer sessions, talks and demonstrations.
There is a charge of £1/ £2 to cover room hire.
Come and join us at the Hilt for this Computer Skills Group.
All members of Monks Brook U3A are welcome.
Visitors are also welcome, but would be required to join Monks Brook U3A if wishing to attend on a regular basis.
Every second Monday at 2pm.
