When a rival claims to have performed the same feat and is shown to be lying, Mercedes’s own achievement is called into question, forcing her into a repeat performance, the “vindication swim” of the title.

Movies @ The Hilt is a relaxed comunity cinema where we show a recent movie and we try to give the audience the chance to select the upcoming titles. We dont operate a bar, but feel free to bring your own refreshments. We stop the film at some point for a short interval to give people the chance to have a few minutes natter and stretch their legs. We usually have ice creams on sale in the interval.
